Krassimir Benjamin was born in Sofia but spent much of his life in Germany, which became his second home country. He studied German at the University of Sofia, and then worked in different positions in international IT companies, which he occupies thanks to his excellent command of German. In 2014, he and his brother, Martin and his brother’s wife, Sarah, decided to follow his hunger for the culinary and conscious / healthy lifestyle and create a new generation of chocolates that focus on sustainability, health and social responsibility. At the end of the same year, the three created a company that by 2018 managed to develop over 50 types of organic vegan chocolates with various super foods that are currently sold in more than 25 countries across four continents.
